High Income Shares Options Strategy
High Income Shares funds are built mostly around single well-known companies, with calls written on part of each position to turn its price swings into monthly income. Coverage is typically around 33% to 35% of the holdings but can go as high as 50%, leaving the rest uncovered to grow. Early on, funds launched in pairs, a plain version and an Enhanced version, but newer launches are Enhanced only, adding 25% leverage for more income and growth potential. Funds on U.S. companies are unhedged.
