UltraYield Options Strategy
UltraYield funds hold a focused basket of large companies and sell at-the-money calls, with strikes at today's price, on about 50% of it. At-the-money calls pay the highest premiums but give up gains on the covered half. Leverage of up to 33% on top aims to lift both income and growth potential. Funds holding U.S. or international stocks are hedged to the Canadian dollar. Payouts arrive twice a month.
